Juventus Selected for USDA Academy
The U.S. Soccer Development Academy selected Juventus as a USDA club. This is the highest level youth soccer league in the nation and its parent organization manages the US national soccer teams (e.g., for World Cup). Players interested in the new Juventus Academy Teams should register for June Tryouts.

MLS & Academy Game at Avaya Stadium
The Juventus U18 academy team will play its last regular season game on Sunday June 7th against the Earthquakes U18 academy in the Avaya Stadium.
vs The game will immediately follow the MLS game between the Quakes and FC Dallas.
This is a very unique opportunity for the academy teams to play in a professional MLS stadium.We would like to invite all Juventus families to attend the game and support the academy. Because of stadium requirements there will be a $25 admission to the facility, this will allow for viewing of the MLS as well as the academy game. The tickets are for standing room only, there is an expectation that seats in the stadium will become available after the MLS game that can then be used fro the academy game.

Recent Academy Match Updates
Redwood City – A historic day for the Juventus SC Academy as all three age groups achieved victory against the San Jose Earthquakes Academy.
Beginning with the under-14’s game, the Juventus U14’s played a hard fought match against a very good rival and emerged victorious with a 1-0 victory. The match was back and forth throughout the game as Juventus sought to break down the Earthquake’s stubborn defense but with no avail. Finally, in the 57th minute, off a corner kick set piece, CB Tyler Goloubef broke free of his man and connected on the cross to give the home team the lead. Juventus had a couple more chances but were denied by the Earthquake’s GK. The final whistle blew and Juventus earned a well-deserved win. The Juventus U-14s are now undefeated since November of 2014, a span of 15 games.
The Juventus under 16’s and under-18’s both played their games at Cañada College starting with the under-18s game. In the under-16s game, Juventus opened the scoring in the 48th minute with a goal from Daniel Aguirre. Only five minutes later, the Earthquakes forward found the back of the net to tie the game for the visiting side. The game remained tied until the 70th minute when Juventus midfielder Enzo Gomez scored what turned out to be the game winner against the third place San Jose Earthquakes. A 2-1 victory and Juventus under-16’s improve to 12-13-4 and move up to 6th place in the Northwest Division of the Western Conference of the Development League.
Having played first, the Juventus under-18s set the tone for the day with a similar score of 2-1. Alfredo Tinoco opened up the scoring in the 26th minute and game Juventus the early lead. The game remained tied until the second half when the Earthquakes managed an equalizer in the 60th minute. Yet the home side was not to be denied as Forward Agustine Williams found the game winner 6 minutes later and Juventus held on for the victory. The Juventus under-18s improve to 4-24-1
The Juventus U14’s return to action next Saturday May 16 at 11:30 AM in Marlin Park vs. San Mateo County Star.
The Juventus U16’s and U18’s have a bye but return to the field against San Diego Nomads on May 23 starting with the U18’s at 2 PM and the U16’s at 4:30 PM. Both games will be at Cañada College.
