Juventus Selected for USDA Academy

The U.S. Soccer Development Academy selected Juventus as a USDA club. This is the highest level youth soccer league in the nation and its parent organization manages the US national soccer teams (e.g., for World Cup). Players interested in the new Juventus Academy Teams should register for June Tryouts.

Juventus Avanza GU18 2014 TOC Champions

Avanza GU18 have been one of the most successful girls teams in Juventus history. Over the last 3 years the team has a tremendous amount of success. They are currently the 2 time defending state cup champions and are ranked #1 in Northern California, #1 in Region IV, and #2 in the nation by Gotsoccer.com. Avanza is coached by Juventus DOC, Ivan Bandov. Here is what he said about the team. "It's been great to see all the success Avanza has achieved over the last few years. At U14 we went through some bumps in the road but the girls stuck together and have become one of the best temas in Northern California. It's great to see the girls develop and achieve this level of play after putting in so much work".

Juventus Sole Black 04G Win Championship at the Mustang Stampede

(U10 Premier Division)

Juventus Sole Black put together four quality matches at the Mustang Stampede, held in Danville on July 19th & 20th.

The weekend started off in pool play with a convincing 7-0 win over the Mustang Dynamite. The second match of the day was against the USA Stars from Sacramento. This game resembled the first as Sole dominated play on their way to an 11-0 victory. Sunday morning saw Sole finish off pool play with another impressive win over the Pleasanton Rage, 7-0. The three wins out Sole Black into the Championship game against the San Diego Surf, who also gone 3-0 in their pool with a 15-0 goal differential. Sole Black came out and used their relentless pressure and short passing to earn a very hard fought 1-0 win in the Championship match. Sole Black is coached by Jack Rosenhan and managed by Joe Masetti.

6 teams from Juventus will be playing in the prestigious. Surf Cup July 26-28 and August 2-4th in San Diego, CA.

Heat wins Dallas Cup 

The BU16 Heat recently won the elite Dallas Cup during April 13-21st. Heat went 6-0 through the week and finished with a 3-2 victory in the final over FC Dallas. Congratulations to the boys and Coach Arturo Orozco.

Avanza wins 2 State Cups

GU17 Avanza recently completed the sweep of winning both NorCal and CYSA State Cup. Avanza beat Cen Cal Soccer Alliance 1-0 in the Nor Cal final and Bay Oaks Botafogo 1-0 in the CYSA final. By winning the CYSA state cup final, Avanza qualified for Far West Regionals which takes place in New Mexico June 16-22nd. This is Avanza's 3 state cup title in the last 2 years.
